Wadi Abdoun Suspended Bridge:

The Project is part of Amman’s Beltway (Ring Road), where the descending road from the hillside that goes up toward the 4th circle, intersects Wadi Abdoun and climbs back up on the opposite hill towards Abdoun Circle.

Total Length of the Bridge:

425 meters. Its height from the lowest point in the Wadi is 45 meters.
This is one of the unique projects that GAM is undertaking through an international bid. Dar Al Handasah Co. (Sha’er and Associates) designed the Bridge and the project is being implemented by Larsen & Toubro Co., in alliance with Al Fanneya Lel-Insha’at Co.
Work on the Project commenced on 14/12/2002 and is expected to be completed by 12/4/2005.
