On the heels of the conference that was held in Japan in 1985 in solidarity with the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki as the first two cities exposed to nuclear bombs; and due to the great destruction inflicted on peoples and animals whose effects are still being felt today by individuals who survived;

This organization was established with the aim of calling for solidarity to promote peace instead of wars, friendship instead of hatred, humanitarian cooperation among peoples, and promoting solidarity among cities of the world to prevent the spread of nuclear weapons which are destructive to mankind and civilization. It also seeks to build friendly relations among the nations based on mutual respect. Amman is a member of this organization because of the noble humanitarian objectives that this organization espouses.
