Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA)

SIDA is a government agency responsible for bilateral cooperation programs between Sweden and the countries of Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Eastern Europe. SIDA was established in 1995, and it aims at providing technical and training assistance to developing countries in order to enhance the income levels in those countries. GAM has benefited from SIDA programs when it sent a delegation for training in various technical fields. Usually, the Agency lists its annual training programs and GAM selects the programs that are in line with GAM operations. GAM then nominates a number of its employees to participate in the training program
