The Mosque is located in the center of Amman and it is one of the city’s oldest. The Mosque, which was built by Prince Abdullah Bin Al Hussein in 1924 in place of an earlier one, is 58.5m in length and 12.5m in width. It has a front colonnade and two side ones, and in the middle an open yard and two minarets; the minaret on the right rises to 70m and the other one 35m. The Mosque has undergone many renovations and expansions.
