oldest. The Mosque, which was built by Prince Abdullah Bin Al
Hussein in 1924 in place of an earlier one, is 58.5m in length and
12.5m in width. It has a front colonnade and two side ones, and in
the middle an open yard and two minarets; the minaret on the right
rises to 70m and the other one 35m. The Mosque has undergone many
renovations and expansions.
